Field Service/Calibration Technician Qualifications
 Associate level college coursework preferred
 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
 Effective verbal and written communications skills and positive team player skills and experience a must
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
 Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
 Ability and willingness to travel both locally and out of state (overnight)

 Calibrate temperature and humidity probes sensors, calibrate general purpose test equipment
 Complete all required data reports and documentation thoroughly, legibly and in a timely manner

Calibration Technician – Fremont, CA

A global technical services company is seeking a metrologist to join our Silicon Valley area team. The ideal individual would be available to start immediately, and will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities
• Calibration and maintenance of RF and General Purpose Test and Measurement Equipment including, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, current probes, physical/dimensional, and other electronic test equipment IAW all technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, manufacturer specs, GIDEP, Sure Cal & Met Cal procedures
• Complete all required data reports and documentation thoroughly, legibly and in a timely manner
• Perform services in-house and on-site services
• Miscellaneous other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• For level 1+ metrologist: Calibration experience with strong RF and GPTE – minimum of 3-5 years
• Formal Military PMEL or Com/Nav training preferred
• Associate level college coursework
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Experience with Sure Cal and/or Met Cal preferred
